Kelly Thomas

Founder and Managing Director

Founder and Managing Director Kelly Thomas is the forward-thinking leader of the ADFX team. Having absorbed a mountain of media and production knowledge throughout her career she is an expert in optimising businesses for success and loves nothing more than seeing her clients thrive.

In a rapidly changing media, brand and advertising environment, knowledge and innovation is key. And with more than 20 plus years industry experience, Kelly Thomas has evolved with the changing marketing trends. Her years of research, experience, intuition and a passionate curiosity to understand consumer motivations, behaviours and psyche, has led to the creation and success of ADFX.

Kelly’s strategy to work is driven by fact and insight; she believes an idea is only as good as the people who bring it to life – which is why she surrounds herself with a highly accomplished team who make ideas exponentially better through flawless execution.

“We know every business is different; at ADFX we understand the big picture, as well as seeing to the all-important details and work closely with our clients to uncover strategic solutions that are as individual as they are.”

She began her career in real estate but soon realised her calling and made the move to regional television, working with businesses and multinational corporations across the country to plan and execute media and advertising plans. This experience, as well as a healthy dose of ambition, led to the opening of ADFX (formally known as Advertising FX) in Brisbane in 2004.

Since then the team has expanded to the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast and is now servicing clients Australia wide. These days Kelly continues to bring her industry passion to work every day, and loves nothing more than helping to create a plan and seeing her client’s businesses thrive.
