Brismark is a member organisation that represents and serves the needs of the wholesaling sector of the fresh fruit and vegetable industry – in particular the primary wholesalers that operate out of the Brisbane Markets at Rocklea.

Part of Brismark’s role is to promote the importance of the Brisbane Markets at Rocklea as an integral part of the fresh produce supply chain, supporting local Queensland growers, as the home, hub and heart of fresh fruit and vegetables in Queensland.

The Brisbane Markets at Rocklea is Queensland’s major marketing and distribution hub for the supply of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers. More than 700 million kilograms of fresh fruit and vegetables pass through the Brisbane Markets each year, valued at more than $2.0 billion. It is the third largest Central Market in Australia with over 50 wholesalers of fruit, vegetables, flowers, nuts and eggs operating at the site.
